Every baseball family runs into the same questions, usually at the worst possible moment — the night before a tournament, or halfway through a season that isn’t going the way anyone hoped. Ask yours here.
Players, parents, and coaches are all welcome. We read everything that comes in and answer the ones that’ll help the most families, either directly or as a full guide in From the Dugout.
Good Questions to Ask
- Players: how to get out of a slump, what to work on at home, how to handle sitting the bench, what to expect at tryouts.
- Parents: what gear is actually worth buying, how to survive a tournament weekend, when to move up a level, how to talk to a coach.
- Coaches: practice plans, fair rotations, managing pitch counts, keeping eleven-year-olds engaged for two hours.
- Anyone: streaming setups, fence mounts, batteries, scorekeeping, and the rest of the ballpark logistics nobody explains.
